COVID-19 Coronavirus | Updates & Info

COVID-19 Information:

Gilroy Church of Christ - Members & Visitors, As you know, COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has arrived in Tennessee and is now hitting home in our local communities.

The brethren of Gilroy Church of Christ are actively working together to implement options that will protect the congregation against any potential threat of COVID-19 Coronavirus, in a way that is, both, faithful and of good judgement until this all passes and we are clear of any threats.

Worship Service:

Regarding Worship: Until Further Notice - All worship services, bible studies, classes and meetings (at the physical church building location) have been cancelled to ensure that we do not put the health of our members & visitors at risk. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution, for the safety of members & visitors of the congregation.

As a result, we will begin live-streaming the (10am) Sunday Morning Worship Service on the Gilroy Church of Christ website (gilroychurchofchrist.org). These live-streamed broadcasted services will be permanently saved and available to watch in our video Media gallery, under the 'Resources' tab in the Church's website menu.

Communion:

Regarding Communion: As long as the opportunity continues to safely present itself, under the discretion of the leadership at Gilroy Church of Christ, we will continue to pass out single communion kits on Saturday's of each week (at the church building) during specific time frames. Be sure to check the Church website for any news & updates regarding these specific times of opportunity.

Things To Practice & Keep In Mind:

Don't worry, panic, or let fear take control - (Philippians 4:6-7) KJV: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Pray for those affected - (James 5:15) KJV: "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Brethren of Gilroy Church of Christ
