*Live-streaming of the above services will continue for those who are unable to attend the assembly.

Concern

The health & safety of the members of our congregation at Gilroy Church of Christ is our main concern. We encourage more vulnerable individuals to take the needed precautions based on guidelines recommended by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). We have laid out specific recommended guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone who is able to attend as we begin reopening the church building for services.

Guidelines

  • Enter church building at the main entrance through the glass doors.

  • When you enter the building, ushers with gloves will provide communion supplies (including a plastic bag for you to dispose of communion cups, to avoid leakage & spills) and a songbook. Please use these items at the proper time during the worship service. An usher will pass by at the end of the service with a container; please dispose of communion items at that time. Please leave your songbook on the seat when you leave, so that proper cleaning can be done.

  • A container or individual envelopes will be available for your contribution, as you enter the building.

  • Observe a 6-foot social distance while entering/exiting building or while sitting in the pews. (Families/members of same household may sit together.)

  • Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging, etc.

  • Masks are recommended (but not required for those with breathing difficulties) for entering or exiting the building. Masks may be removed for singing and communion.

  • If you feel ill, have a fever or cough, have tested positive or been in contact with someone who has tested positive, please stay home and livestream the worship service. Live-streaming of the noted worship services will continue, even after we meet together in assembly.

  • Limit trips to the restroom.

  • Following the service, please exit the building at your most convenient location.

  • Use common sense, and practice good hygiene by washing hands and/or using hand sanitizer.

For your health safety, and the safety of others, the men ask that you do your best to observe the above mentioned guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you soon and worshipping together once again.
